  "textContent": "_CBS Sunday Morning_ correspondent David Pogue interviewed Apple's CEO Tim Cook ahead of the company's 50th anniversary on April 1, 2026.\n\n\nIn the interview, Cook revealed the two things that are \"essential\" to Apple: people and culture.\n\n\"Yes, we have a lot of intellectual property and so forth, and that is important, but it's people that create that intellectual property,\" said Cook. \"It's the culture that creates the innovation with the intellectual property.\"\n\n\"I think it's very difficult to replicate culture,\" added Cook. \"It takes a long time, because you have to hire the right people.
