What’s needed to bootstrap GHC with hugs?

I mean a person could just do that too. It would take days/weeks instead of hours/days (maybe), but it’s a pretty mechanical process. I guess the issue here is does anyone really want bootstrappable GHC enough to lend the elbow grease?
