I also think it is a more general problem, not only confined to the effect of agentic coding on Haskell software development.\n\nI think it is funny how the paper uses hundreds of trials to collect evidence for a basic human emotion/behavior: _lazyness_. (And it is even more funny that in their complete scientific treatment of lazyness, they don’t even mention the word lazy/lazyness _at all_).\n\nNevertheless, I think that generative thinking models will take over the crunch-work of software development. That does not mean we should sit back in lazyness. Instead, I think we should take the opportunity and orchestrate – if one can overcome one’s weaker self .",
