Anti-LLM Sentiment Considered Harmful

To bring the conversation back on topic, most of the pushback here seems to be coming from people who haven’t used coding agents seriously and are mostly repeating common tropes about LLMs. Jane Street has given a talk about their use of agents in an environment where the consequences of bugs can be measured in billions of dollars. If these systems were just “parroting machines,” as people keep claiming in this thread, I doubt they would have been adopted there.
