Anti-LLM Sentiment Considered Harmful

What it will impact is whether Haskell becomes irrelevant over the next decade or manages to build a healthy, sustainable community.
that’s for sure. If Haskell becomes just another language to write hundreds of thousands of meaningless lines of code of what you could equivalently write in javascript, then there will not be any merit in using it anymore!

I just read about another company moving away from Haskell, and that should be a wake-up call for anyone who cares about the future of Haskell.
Is this something that ever mattered? There’s so many companies moving back and forth into technologies for various reasons. If you’re thinking that how good or sustainable a language is is defined by how many companies write it, then you’re already not using Haskell. Haskell has been around for a pretty damn long time now. If companies not adopting Haskell was such a big problem as you describe it to be it would have ceased to exist a long time ago.
