That’s an interesting perspective.
But I’d not characterize it so much as ideological positions, but more about what type of user experience people have and expect.
To that end, it seems we need to answer all the questions of workflow, utility and so on. E.g. I’m not interested in using them for coding, because, well… I don’t perceive coding as a nuisance.
Why are some people fine doing vibe coding and others are not? I don’t think we can answer this question merely by focusing on the definition of reasoning or intelligence. These are all user experiences.
E.g. I prefer tools that assist me with correctness over tools that assist me with productivity. I find that much more pleasing. Maybe not everyone thinks that way?
