When I saw your opinion, I became curious what you would think about this Karpathy interview: Andrej Karpathy — AGI is still a decade away It was trending on HN a while back so you might have seen it already. Some parts that might be relevant: * current AI as more or less autocomplete at best * march of nines: quality of production-grade software. I think this relates to your concerns about using LLM to build things. Personally, I have difficulty imagining myself trusting it for things that can’t be trivially verified. * as an AI expert (Karpathy), telling people when not to use AI
