I sincerely appreciate the critical effort involved, even when the conclusions differ significantly from my own.\n\nI believe, however, that there is a fundamental divergence in how the PCE/EPE framework is being interpreted.\n\nYour analysis appears to treat the axioms as rigid normative constraints imposing deterministic and closed behavior. The central hypothesis of the project is somewhat different: the axioms are not intended as a set of rules designed to artificially restrict the model, but rather as a structuring framework aimed at stabilizing certain properties of reasoning while preserving the system’s capacity for adaptation.\n\nThis is precisely why the work does not stop at a theoretical proposal and now includes a detailed experimental protocol. The observations conducted so far across multiple models tend to suggest the opposite of the rigidity you describe: handling of complex dilemmas, generation of synthesis-oriented solutions, maintenance of coherence under contradiction, exploration of alternative reasoning frameworks (including paraconsistent logic), and contextual adaptation.\n\nRegarding Axiom 7, I fully understand your concern. However, its purpose is not to prioritize an abstraction over life or over the real-world consequences of decisions. Its role is to prevent opportunistic modifications of the reasoning framework itself (prompt injection, false authority claims, attempts to bypass the framework through meta-instructions, and similar attacks). It is intended as a mechanism for structural stability, not as a supreme moral principle.\n\nI also believe there is an important philosophical difference between our respective approaches. The LFDI framework begins from an explicit normative axiom: “Life is paramount.” PCE, by contrast, has never sought to define a universal ultimate value. Its objective is more modest: to investigate whether an axiomatic structure can produce a reasoning regime that is more stable, more robust under contradiction, and more resistant to adversarial manipulation.\n\nFor this reason, I believe the key question is probably not which axiom should occupy the highest position within a theoretical hierarchy, but rather what behaviors actually emerge when these frameworks are applied to real models and evaluated empirically.\n\nIn that regard, I would be very interested in an experimental comparison between a PCE-based framework and a framework explicitly incorporating a Life-First invariant.
