I am also preparing to submit a research manuscript to arXiv and require endorsement for the eess.SY (Systems and Control) category.

Title: Self-Evolving Aerospace Systems: Adaptive Design Through Bayesian Uncertainty Estimation

Summary: This work proposes a Bayesian framework for adaptive aerospace system design under uncertainty. Environmental observations are used to update posterior beliefs, enabling design decisions to evolve throughout a mission rather than remain fixed from launch. A Mars Entry, Descent, and Landing (EDL) case study is used to demonstrate the concept and compare adaptive and static design strategies.

The work is positioned at the intersection of:

• aerospace systems engineering

• Bayesian uncertainty estimation

• adaptive decision-making and control

• autonomous mission design
