🤖 HRI Study: How Should Robots Intervene to Prevent Procrastination? (10-Min Survey)

Hugging Face Forums [Unofficial] May 30, 2026

Hello!

As part of our Human-Robot Interaction (HRI) research at Stuttgart Media University (HdM), we are exploring how social, humanoid robots can help users stay focused and combat smartphone-induced procrastination in everyday workspaces.

We are utilizing the open-source Reachy Mini platform to test different behavioral intervention modes, and we need your expertise and personal perception!

Study Overview:

  • What you’ll do: You will watch 3 short video clips demonstrating different reaction and intervention modes of the Reachy Mini and rate them.

  • Duration: Approx. 10–15 minutes.

  • Important: Please complete the survey in a quiet environment or use headphones, as the robot’s audio cues and sounds are essential to the study.

  • Privacy: Participation is fully anonymous and used strictly for academic research.

Once our study is completed, we aim to share our findings and insights regarding user acceptance of robotic interventions back with the open-source and robotics community here on Hugging Face.

Thank you so much for your time!

Best regards,

Elia & Daniel
