I’d separate philosophy from the actual model though.\n\nYMM doesn’t require information to exist as its own field it just assumes information is carried and shaped by a structure. In this case, a graph that updates through use. The “living” aspect comes from reinforcement and reorganization, not from information being independent of a substrate.\n\nSo I’d frame it more as information = pattern + structure + reinforcement over time.\n\nThat said, if you did think of information as a field, the activation flow idea maps pretty naturally onto it, it’s just not something the model depends on to function, if u catch my drift",
