GPU advice on 5080

very comprehensive reply, many thanks indeed… given I will probably not want to be buying another card after this in the near future, it sounds like a 24GB is the way to go.. not AMD… would that be a fair assessment? Then it’s about cost… maybe, as suggested, wait for prices to drop
