Would You Use an AI Robot Companion?

Hi everyone

I wanted to share a project we’ve been working on: AI Companion.

It’s a concept-stage robot designed to give an AI system a physical presence through voice, vision, movement, an expressive screen face, and sensor-based interaction.

The idea is simple:

• the AI is the brain

• the robot is the body

We’re still at an early stage, and I’d really appreciate feedback, especially on one key question:

What would make a robot like this genuinely useful in the real world, rather than just interesting?
