Money was taken from my card
I have noticed an unexpected charge of approximately 400 TRY on my credit card linked to my Hugging Face account. I do not have a PRO subscription, and I am confused about this billing. Also, I saw a note saying there would be a $10 authorization hold, but instead, the full amount was charged directly.
Could you please help me understand the reason for this charge and assist with a refund if possible?
Hey, I had something similar happen. In my case it turned out I had triggered usage-based billing (API or Spaces with paid hardware) without realizing it – that gets charged even if you don’t have PRO.
The $10 is usually just a hold, but if you got charged ~400 TRY, that’s likely real usage. I’d check the billing page and then contact support – they can tell you exactly what it was for and sometimes refund it.
