How to fix 2.1 level bugs?

Currently, I'm porting SRB2 The Past v1.08 (Don't mind me), but the enemies have problems.
For starters, the old Skim won't get on top of the water, and the 0.96 Eggman spawns gold monitors for some reason.
Any tips?
