how do i make 3d models?

i recently got misfit model 3d, and i also recently got interested in making 3d models for srb2 there might be a tutorial, but i can't find any on youtube or here on the message board, or maybe atleast one that has all the informations needed i want to make an 3d model for the old xtreme sonic mod (since it dosen't have that many animations so it wouldn't kill me) using this model
