Troubles with gate textures/flats

I've been fiddling around with this for a bit, trying everything I could think of. The closest thing I found was action type 102, solid translucent and I checked on cut cyan flat pixels, yet it wouldn't work in zone builder nor would it work ingame. I was wondering if I was doing anything wrong and needed help since I am still pretty new to zone builder.
