What happens if I migrate the zones.pk3 file from version 2.2 to version 2.1?

I was sitting at my computer replaying SRB 2 when an idea suddenly struck me! What would happen if I moved the zones.pk3 file from version 2.2 to version 2.1? Naturally, I decided to test it. I had no problem running zones.pk3 in version 2.1 (though I couldn't do it again later because I forgot HOW!!!).
