Host of factors sinks former landfill site for aquarium plan, zoo board chair says

Zoo board chair Rob VerHeulen said a “host” of factors — not any single issue — led to the decision to abandon the former Fenske Landfill in the Grand Rapids suburb of Walker as the aquarium site.
