10,000 customers impacted by Metro Detroit water main break; repairs could take 2 weeks

The 42-inch transmission line broke around 1:30 a.m. Sunday in River Woods Park in Auburn Hills after crews had already been working to repair a leak in the line, according to the Great Lakes Water Authority.
