Northern Michigan placed under a severe thunderstorm watch until early Tuesday morning

At 11:13 p.m. EDT on Monday, the National Weather Service issued a severe thunderstorm watch in effect until Tuesday at 5 a.m. EDT for Arenac, Benzie, Crawford, Gladwin, Grand Traverse, Kalkaska, Manistee, Missaukee, Ogemaw, Roscommon and Wexford counties.
