Flint mayor proposes $1M transfer to pay latest GLWA water rate increase

Mayor Sheldon Neeley says he’ll ask the Flint City Council to transfer $1 million in federal stimulus funds to cover the cost of a 5.8% increase in the price of wholesale water from the Great Lakes Water Authority.
