O/\n\nSun's up.\n\nDeep thought boulevard on the way.\n\nIf that's not your thing there's plenty more on the site to lighten your day.\n\nTry Love, or Ugly Dogs, or a Post-Modern BOP, for instance.\n\nHope all's well.\n\nHere we go.\nOn with our show...\n\n...\n\nJust thoughts and sentiments so many of us have but we don't talk enough about.\n\nA TL;DR: of sorts. ^\n\nHow do you know yourself?\n\nHow do you find yourself?\n\nFind a mirror and say hello....\n\nIt's more than that, more than your image that makes you, You.\n\nStart with recognizing what you're naturally good at and what brings you joy to do.\n\nFor me it's writing, poetry specifically... lucky me.\n\nIt may not seem the most economically viable of activities, but it's what I'm best built for.\n\nSo my best life is one that is built to serve my ability to write.\n\nIf I'd been built to throw a fastball 90mph or greater, and I enjoyed throwing it, I'd have built my life around it.\n\nGood chance you'd see me on a sports network and not have to unbury me in an Internet full of babel.\n\nIt's where we put our sense of value.\n\nWhen we value artists as much as athletes our civilization will grow.\n\nIt's not that valuing sports and leisure are wrong; it's the overemphasis of importance we place on them.\n\nIt's our addiction to spectacle that feeds college scholarships to athletes and starves artists.\n\nBut some of our best moments, what we remember most, what has the most lasting impact on the quality of our lives, comes from the experiences gained from stories, and words, and what pictures and paintings can do.\n\nThere's the experience of being alone.\n\nSome of us call it peace and quiet.\n\nSome of us call it 'Where are my sleeping pills?'\n\nToo many of us are in the latter category.\n\nOur lives became exercises in distraction.\n\nWe thought if we're not doing something we're not living, we're wasteful, worthless.\n\nBut this is far from true.\n\n_Our lives are the process of making dreams come true._\n\nNot just the wish upon a star ones either.\n\nBefore you stand up to get a glass of water you have to dream it first.\n\nJust because you're well-trained to do it doesn't mean it doesn't happen.\n\nWhen you want to pick up your glass of water your hand has to work a certain way.\n\nHow's it do that?\n\nYou learned it by watching, by witnessing the expression of another doing it, by seeing an actor pick up a glass you learned to do it yourself.\n\nFirst there's the thought, or dream labeled with words, then the act.\n\n_A thought is a dream labeled with words._\n\nDeep thought morning...\n\nI want you to see the importance of sitting alone, of dreaming on purpose so you can live on purpose a life of purpose.\n\nDreams are so important. Actually they're mandatory.
