"textContent": "### Fiber Optics\n\nI’ll never understand what Fiber has to do with Optics,\nUnless watching the recommended dose of social media\nEveryday is the best way to stay regular.\n\n* * *\n\n### For What It’s Worth\n\nEven writing this I’m still forgetting I’m going to die.\n\nLasso up Heaven!\nShout sad the sky!\nLook up and up and …\nWhat was I talking about?\nIf I die today without a friend,\nTo understand my tears, my joy,\nOr what my death will mean to me;\n\nI’ll die never having shared the value of my loneliness.\n\n* * *\n\n### Shake a Leg\n\n _(Oh for Heaven’s sake,\nHere’s that verse of penned metrics;) _\n\nAre we fated or clean slated?\nAre we forsaken or just shaken?\nDo we rhyme or is it chance?\n\nA poem is just,\n_Fastwords_ ,\nIn a slow measured dance.\n\n* * *\n\n### What I’m Wearing\n\nEverybody’s got brakes to fix,\nBills to pay, money they don’t have,\nSomething money won’t buy.\n\nSitting in the sun,\n\nSunroof on tilt at an angle.\nMaybe 30 degrees,\nMaybe 40 degrees outside.\n\nYou walked, almost ran by,\n\nBlack top, blue jeans\nWhat I’m wearing,\nOn a short voluptuous\n\nWoman always in a hurry,\n\nAlways not\nWanting to be\nWhere she’s going.\n\n* * *\n\n### Like a Good Person Would\n\nWe go about our days\nEveryday, doing everyday\nWalking the parking lot\n\nPlastic bags over one wrist,\nLimping cause the ice cream\nCartons are double bagged.\n\nEasier to carry five bags,\nThen to have to walk\nThe cart back to the curb\nLike a good person would.\n\n~ Wynn ~",
