"textContent": "_Friday, February 13, 2026_\n\nGood morning, The Wonderfell Way.\n\nHappy Death Day. O/\n\nFour years ago an SUV traveling around fifty miles an hour crossed a double yellow and drove right into my driver's seat.\n\nI flatlined and woke up three days later in an ICU with my left leg split in two and a hospital team of doctors and nurses waiting for me to be conscious enough to operate to put it back together.\n\nBone now wraps itself around the metal rod connecting my left knee to my ankle.\n\nIt took about a year, but I learned to walk again.\n\nThe nerve damage to my left side is finally feeling healed. Evidently nerves required more time to heal than my nearly severed leg.\n\nDamaged nerve endings can cause a whole world of strange symptoms.\n\nThese past four years are a catalog called: A World of Strange Symptoms.\n\nI work in as much peace and quiet as I can make and let the healing finish its job.\n\nThere's been more than Ghostly reasons for my Ghostly ways. Anonymity has been part of my medical treatment plan.\n\nThe idea is to write.\n\nDiscussing writing with others is a joy I look forward to, but not at the expense of my health.\n\nThe idea is to write consistently.\n\nNerves are an interesting thing to heal. Modern medicine still has so many question marks on them.\n\nNerves respond to stress... as much peace and quiet as I can make....\n\nThe idea is to write, to keep working.\n\nA journal rarely going personal is ironic.\n\nIrony is a poet's business; we're right at home.\n\nToday went personal.\n\nThanks for reading, take care and make a wonderful day.\n\n#### Wynn\n\nBrought to you by the emoji of the day: 🧟 __zombie__\n\nPic Prompt: __Create a stick figure pen and ink image of a zombie wearing a birthday hat watching the sunrise.__\n\n_****Archaic Slab****_",
