‘They’re proud of their country, as they should be!’ Dougie Beattie hails American patriotism during 250th anniversary celebrations

GB News’ Dougie Beattie has celebrated American patriotism as the country gathers to celebrate 250 years of independence.

Speaking from Philadelphia, Dougie said Americans around him were fully behind President Donald Trump’s speech before the Mount Rushmore monument last night.

“Americans have been absolutely delighted in the sun, and they have been enjoying their birthday. They're very, very patriotic,” Dougie said.

“I've listened to all the comments about Trump's speeches in the British media. No sign of it here.

“These Americans are so patriotic. It's their country. They're proud of it. And they should be.

“In 250 years, they have become the most powerful nation in the world,” the GB News star enthused.
