Manchester school in lockdown with pupil arrested after three people injured in suspected stabbing
A Manchester school has been put into lockdown following a suspected stabbing by a student.
A pupil from the Co-op Academy on Plant Hill Road in Blackley this morning has been arrested by Greater Manchester Police.
Three people have been injured.
The injuries aren't believed to be serious, police have confirmed.

A number of emergency response vehicles were on the scene.
Students were reportedly told to stay in their classrooms while in police arrived at the scene.
Greater Manchester Police released a statement on social media.
They said: "Officers are currently responding to an incident at a school on Plant Hill Road, Blackley where a schoolgirl has been arrested."
The police added: "Three people have been injured however injuries aren't believed to be serious at this time.
"Emergency services remain on scene and we are supporting the school.
"There is not believed to be any wider threat to the pupils and staff in the school."
No further details on the suspect have been released.
