We will continue to love him. That love does not stand in opposition to the sorrow we feel for the Nowak family. Both are real, and both will remain with us for the rest of our lives,\" they said.\n\n###\n\n\n\n\n###\n\n\n\n\n###\n\n\n\n\nThey continue to say they would \"give anything to turn back time\" to ensure the two men \"never crossed that night\".\n\nThe statement said: \"We would give anything to turn back time so the path of both Henry and Vickrum never crossed that night.\n\n\"We cannot change what has happened, we just hope that no further pain is caused in its name.\n\n\"We apologise to the Sikh community for our son’s actions which have unfairly brought the community into disrepute.\n\n### LATEST DEVELOPMENTS\n\n\n\n\n * Nigel Farage calls Henry Nowak's murder 'proof of two-tier Britain' in 'emergency address to nation'\n * Henry Nowak's murder to be addressed in Parliament after horrific footage of arrest shared by police\n * Police force orders officers to keep record of Britons' anti-Islam comments\n\n\n\n###\n\n\n\n\n###\n\n\n\n\n\"We ask that this tragedy is not used by anyone to inflame division or hostility towards any community.\n\n\"We now ask for privacy as we come to terms with what lies ahead.\"\n\nOn December 3 last year, Mr Nowak was fatally stabbed by Digwa after an altercation broke out between the two men.\n\nInstead of calling for medical help, Digwa with the help of his family, called the police, who arrived at the scene.\n\n###\n\n\n\n\n###\n\n\n\n\nYesterday, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary released to bodycam footage of the arrest.\n\nIn the footage, Mr Nowak can be seen lying face down on a gravel driveway, to which a man tells informs police the 18-year-old is bleeding.\n\nMr Nowak then told officers several times \"I have been stabbed\" and \"I can’t breathe\".\n\nAn officer responds to the teenager: \"You've been stabbed, mate? I don't think you have.\"\n\n###\n\n\n\n\n###\n\n\n\n\nThree minutes after being arrested, Mr Nowak falls unconscious and is pronounced dead at 00.37am on December 4, 2025.\n\nThe case has captured the attention of the nation in what is being described as “two-tier” justice.\n\nReform UK’s leader Nigel Farage said today: \"The last thing he heard was being read his rights by police. The accusation of a racial slur is treated more seriously than actual violence.\n\n\"What is the response of many of our politicians? Silence. It is two-tier Britain.\"\n\n###\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n**Our Standards: The GB News Editorial Charter**",
