The legendary talkSPORT presenter gave fans a major update on Sunday and admitted NHS doctors had saved his life after a serious medical scare.

Speaking candidly about his condition, Brazil admitted the situation had become extremely serious.
"Well, as you can see, I'm beginning to improve rapidly, which is great news," he said. "I was nearly gone, I don't mind telling you."
The veteran broadcaster then praised NHS staff for the treatment he received during his recovery.

"But listen, it's a miracle what's happened. NHS, brilliant," Brazil added. "I can't thank the people at Cambridge enough. They've saved my life."
Despite the frightening ordeal, Brazil appeared upbeat as he reassured listeners he was steadily recovering.
"But I'm on the mend, you bet," he said.

The popular presenter also admitted he is desperate to get back behind the microphone after weeks away from talkSPORT.
"I'm missing radio, I will be back," he told fans. "It won't be long now, a few weeks, Brazil is back."
Brazil's latest health setback first became apparent earlier this year when he missed broadcasts during the final stages of the Cheltenham Festival.
At the time, he was simply described as being unwell.
He had also previously taken time away from the station in January due to illness.
The broadcaster has faced several health scares in recent years.
Back in 2020, Brazil underwent heart surgery after suffering medical complications that forced him off air temporarily.
Speaking at the time, he referenced his famous hard-living lifestyle while discussing the operation.
"I had a little problem, whether it was Covid related or, I don't know, fast living catching up with me," he said previously. "I had a little sort out in the old ticker but I'm pleased to say I'm on the mend."
Before moving into broadcasting, Brazil enjoyed a successful football career.
The former striker began at Ipswich Town before later playing for Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United during the 1980s.
He also earned 13 caps for Scotland and represented his country at the 1982 FIFA World Cup in Spain.
Now, after one of the toughest periods of his life, Brazil says he is finally beginning to see light at the end of the tunnel.
