A bugler sounded The Last Post, signaling a period of silent relfection, at a commemoration of the Iraq War at the National Memorial Arboretum in Alrewas, Staffordshire.

179 British service personnel died in the conflict between March 20 2003 and December 18 2011.

Attendees heard speeches from veterans and family memebrs of fallen heroes at the ceremony, which was blessed with glorious sunshine.
