"textContent": "\n\n\n\nRoku has unmasked its first smart projectors for UK viewers.\n\nThe US-based streaming giant, which is now used in more than 100 million households, has teamed up with two partners – Aurzen and Sharp — to bring these new devices to British homes.\n\nEach uses the same Roku streaming software found in its popular TV sticks, bringing boxsets and blockbusters from thousands of streaming services to a much bigger screen. This even includes the **40 new channels that just arrived across its Smart TVs and set-top boxes.**\n\nRichard Halton, Roku's UK Country Manager, said in a statement: \"Projectors have long promised a cinematic experience, but often they've lacked the simplicity and intelligence consumers expect.\n\n\"With Roku TV Smart Projectors, we're bringing the seamless streaming experience Roku users know and love to an exciting new form factor, making big-screen entertainment more accessible than ever.\"\n\nThe Roku TV Smart Projectors can scale up to 150 inches, which surpasses competitor Amazon's Fire TV platform, which isn't available in a projector and maxes out at 75 inches with its Smart TVs.\n\nA projector may be a great choice if you want to watch your favourite shows, sports, and movies on a larger screen without going to the cinema. They also offer a more flexible viewing experience, allowing you to project onto nearly any wall or ceiling, both indoors and outdoors.\n\nIn some cases, you might even want to hook up your gaming console to play on an even larger screen setup.\n\n###\n\n\n\n\nBoth of Roku's projectors come packed with features that are meant to make setup simple. For instance, they display your movies and shows in 1080p HD resolution for crisp-looking images. However, other projectors like**** Samsung's newer Freestyle+ pack four times as much resolution with support for 4K.\n\nRoku's projectors come built with autofocus and auto keystone correction, so you won't need to fiddle with the device when attempting to get the picture straight. This is useful when switching between different walls around the house.\n\nThey both also come with Bluetooth connectivity, so you can hook up wireless speakers, soundbars, or even headphones if you want to watch something without waking the whole house.\n\nIn terms of audio, the projectors sport Dolby, which can be found on several Roku-powered televisions like the recently launched Sharp Roku TV.\n\n### LATEST DEVELOPMENTS\n\n\n\n\n * **Best VPN deals**\n * Your next Google Chrome update could stop AI scams and fake videos from tricking you\n * Gemini Spark is a 'proactive' AI agent to manage your Gmail, write Google Docs, and make purchases for you\n * Gmail's new AI tool will search through everything in your inbox to answer ANY question about your email\n\n\n\n###\n\n\n\n\nIf you're an Apple user, AirPlay is also supported, letting you beam music, videos, photos, and even games from your iPhone or iPad straight to the big screen.\n\nYou can also control everything through the Roku mobile app, which supports the same voice commands as the remote control included in the box.\n\nThe main difference between the two? ****The Aurzen Roku TV Smart Projector can scale up to 150 inches, whereas Sharp's version will only expand up to 120 inches.\n\nIf you're keen to get your hands on one, the Aurzen Roku TV Smart Projector will be up for grabs from Amazon starting in June. Sharp's model will land at Asda stores from June and will later be sold at Tesco.\n\n###\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n**Our Standards: The GB News Editorial Charter**",
