"textContent": "\n\n\nThe Prime Minister just doesn't get it.\n\nI think he thinks he can talk his way out of this. He is so tone deaf.\n\n###\n\n\n\n\nKeir, you are the problem. You have betrayed your roots by bringing in anti-growth policies that largely affect the people who are the basis of your party, the unions.\n\nIf you want more jobs, don't bring in day one workers' rights. Don't raise the minimum wage so high that employers can't afford it.\n\nDon't increase employers' National Insurance contributions.\n\nOf course, you protected most of the public sector from that one, which includes yourself.\n\n\n###\n\n\n\n\nIdiotic policies that do the very opposite of what you are trying to achieve.\n\nDon't screw the pensioners, the farmers and the publicans, the very lifeblood of this country.\n\nDon't scare off all the billionaires, many of whom provide jobs that pay tax, and they pay an extraordinary amount of tax.\n\nDon't put VAT on private schools, as this would affect the educational prospects of children, many of whom have been left in the cold by the education system.\n\n\n###\n\n\n\n\nPredictably, they have flooded a state sector ill-equipped to deal with their needs.\n\nOver 100 schools have allegedly closed, putting teachers out of work and affecting the businesses that feed them.\n\nIt was so obvious that this would be the result. And, of course, don't allow the welfare bill to spiral out of control. It is shameful.\n\nIs there seriously any integrity left? You are a calamity, taking freebies while preaching on a plinth of integrity.\n\n\n###\n\n\n\n\nYou are a millionaire, for God's sake. You haven't got a clue what you or your party stand for.\n\nYou turn and turn like a spinning top, running away when the going gets tough, and your judgment is abhorrent.\n\nPursuing the dead Dodo Chagos deal. What for?\n\nSo many other things that you should have been getting on with, like stopping the boats. You have allowed the welfare bill to spiral out of control.\n\n###\n\n\n\n\nAnd why on earth did you employ Peter Mandelson, a man who called a paedophile his best friend?\n\nThe trouncing you got in the local election should tell you everything, but you're still clinging on.\n\nYou promised to govern in the best interests of the country.\n\nOnce upon a time you said: “This is how we govern: Country first, party second.”\n\nMore like your ego first.\n\nJust resign. Otherwise, your party is finished.\n\n###\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n**Our Standards: The GB News Editorial Charter**",
