Kobbie Mainoo scores brilliant winner as Man Utd survive Liverpool comeback to qualify for Champions League

Manchester United survived a dramatic Liverpool comeback to win 3-2 at Old Trafford on Sunday and qualify for next season's Champions League.

The Red Devils raced into a two-goal lead after early efforts from Matheus Cunha and Benjamin Sesko.

Yet Liverpool were a side transformed after the break, with Dominik Szoboszlai and Cody Gakpo netting to draw the visitors level.

United weren't to be denied, however, with Kobbie Mainoo ultimately scoring the winner with a poweful low strike to guarantee their involvement in next season's top-tier European competition.
