  "textContent": "\n\n\nA 19-year-old man has been charged with false communications relating to a bomb hoax after Friday night's evacuation at a Peter Kay gig.\n\nOmar Majed, of Washwood Heath, Birmingham, has been remanded in custody and will appear before magistrates in Birmingham on May 4, West Midlands Police said.\n\n###\n\n\n\n\nMr Kay was rushed off-stage and crowds were ordered to leave Birmingham's Utilita Arena after a \"suspicious bag\" was reported.\n\nWest Midlands Police later confirmed \"nothing suspicious\" had actually been discovered.\n\n###\n\n\n\n\nTRENDING\n\nStories\n\nVideos\n\nYour Say\n\nThe force said: “An evacuation of the arena was ordered yesterday evening after a report of a suspicious bag being left in the area.\n\n“Following searches, nothing suspicious was found and we are grateful to everyone for their co-operation and understanding.\n\n“As always our priority is the safety of the public.”\n\nOn Friday night, two audience members told GB News how the comedian was taken off the stage, and crowds were told to evacuate.\n\n###\n\n\n\n\n\"It was so funny. Just a brilliant night - we were having such fun. And then all of a sudden... we were just told to evacuate.
