The stand-up show, which began at 8pm on Friday, came to an unexpected halt approximately 45 minutes into the set.

At around 8.45pm, a member of the production crew is understood too have taken to the stage to inform the audience that the performance would not be resuming.

Attendees were subsequently asked to leave the arena, with many reporting they received no explanation for the sudden cancellation.

Several audience members have claimed they noticed police officers inside the venue prior to the evacuation, though the circumstances surrounding tonight's events remain unclear.

Those present at the arena described a sudden and confusing end to the evening's entertainment. Without any prior indication that something was amiss, the production team member appeared on stage to deliver the news that the show would not continue.

Audience members told Birmingham Live they were simply informed the performance was over, with no further details provided about what had prompted the decision.

Reports from multiple attendees suggest police were visible within the arena, adding to speculation about the nature of the incident. The venue was then cleared, with fans directed to exit the building.

West Midlands Police and the event's organisers have been approached for comment regarding the circumstances that led to tonight's evacuation.
