Rod Stewart, 81, set to become grandfather for sixth time as daughter Ruby reveals sweet pregnancy snap
Sir Rod Stewart is poised to welcome his sixth grandchild after daughter Ruby Stewart revealed she is expecting her second baby.
The 38-year-old unveiled her pregnancy at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival last weekend, where her 81-year-old father took to the stage.
Ms Stewart shared photographs on social media showing herself cradling her growing bump whilst wearing an elegant black patterned dress at the Louisiana music event.
The announcement comes as the singer-model prepares to celebrate her firstborn son Otis's third birthday on May 9, making this her second child with fiancé Jake Kalick.
Ms Stewart, the fourth of Rod Stewart's eight children, was born to the rock legend and his former girlfriend, model Kelly Emberg.
Following in her parents' footsteps, Ms Stewart has carved out her own career in both music and fashion.
She previously performed as part of country duo The Sisterhood until their split in 2021 and now pursues a solo singing career.
Her modelling portfolio includes work for Vogue Italia, Glamour Italia and The Nashville Edit.
When Otis arrived on Mother's Day 2023, she wrote on Instagram: "This love... unlike any other love I've ever known."
The festival also saw Ms Stewart’s older sister Kimberly, 46, share the first photograph of her baby son, born last year.
Kimberly announced her pregnancy in March 2024 but has kept both her son's name and his father's identity private. The boy joins her 14-year-old daughter Delilah, whose father is actor Benicio del Toro.
Mr Stewart’s grandchildren now number four in total, with is son Liam, 31, a professional ice hockey player, having two children with wife Nicole Artukovich: son Louie, nearly three, and 14-month-old daughter Elsie.
