"textContent": "\n\n\nThere are plenty of criminal and violent scum in our country without putting out the welcome mat to more from around the world. It will have come as no surprise to you that the Golders Green knifeman was born in Somalia. Of course he was.\n\nOfficial data shows migrants who have washed up here from Somalia, Afghanistan, Iraq and Algeria have much higher arrest rates per 1,000 residents compared to the UK population.\n\nWhich brings me to the shocking case of Amir Khadikhel, 35, an Afghan asylum seeker (aren’t they all), a fellow Afghan, Ismat Miakhel, 33, and their chum, Mansoor Mohammed, 30, an Indian, who wasn’t seeking asylum as he was in the UK on a skilled migrant working visa.\n\nAs things turned out, he was skilled alright – skilled at crime.\n\nAlthough they would tell any gullible Labour politician that they came to Britain to either escape tyranny or make better lives for themselves (what, under Starmer?), the truth was they came here to rob us. And they did that with spectacular success.\n\nKhadikhel and his mate were the masterminds behind the shipping abroad of more than 62,000 stolen iPhones. That’s not a typo, it’s 62,000.\n\n###\n\n\n\n\nThe game was extremely lucrative. And they were responsible for 40 per cent of all mobile phones stolen in London, with the thieves being paid up to £750 for the newest iPhone models.\n\nIt’s still the case that when walking around London (and I’m not the only one), I would keep my phone in my pocket for fear it would be robbed by some young scumbag on a cycle. Not sure I’m allowed to generalise on the colour of the thief, but imagine you can guess.\n\nThe phones were then handed to a network of 50 middlemen who passed them on to Khadikhel and Miakhel. In less than a year, handsets worth £181million were sent to China and Dubai.\n\nThese two scumbags were caught quite easily. A victim used his telephone tracing app to locate the phone in the depot of a DHL courier company near Heathrow.\n\nA DHL employee discovered the iPhone in a package containing nearly 1,000 handsets being shipped to Hong Kong. Khadikhel was making two shipments a week through DHL and UPS.\n\nUndercover police watched as the pair bought 2.5km of foil to wrap the handsets to stop them from being tracked.\n\n###\n\n\n\n\n###\n\n\n\n\nThe phones were flown to workshops in the Middle East and China, where they were reformatted to make them untraceable.\n\nSome fetched up to $5,000 in China because, according to the Times, they were free from government restrictions on internet use.\n\nAll three men pleaded guilty at Southwark Crown Court to handling stolen goods and being part of an organised crime group and will be sentenced in two weeks’ time. Very much looking forward to the judge giving them around 15 years each.\n\nThe Met believes stealing iPhones is so lucrative that gangs have moved on from drugs and county lines. I hope that kind of assessment leads to the stiffest sentence imaginable.\n\nBut I come back to my point. Nobody can tell the difference between a good guy and a bad ‘un when they arrive without a passport on a migrant boat at Dover.\n\nTherefore, there is only one solution. We need to have a seven-year moratorium on migrants coming from countries which are responsible for a rising crime level in our country.\n\nThe nation will be a much safer place without them. Yes, there may be some injustice, but better that the injustice is dished out in the streets of Golders Green, Bolton and the Mancer.\n\nWe can do without these people.",
