  "textContent": "\n\n\nThe parents of an October 7 attack victim have told GB News that they \"no longer feel safe\" in Britain, following the Golders Green stabbing yesterday.\n\nSpeaking to Home and Security Editor Mark White, Michael and Lisa Marlowe told the People's Channel that the situation within their community is becoming \"really quite scary\".\n\n###\n\n\n\n\nJake Marlowe, their son, was killed at the Nova music Festival in Israel on October 7, 2023.\n\nReflecting on the attack in Golders Green, Mr Marlowe said they are \"not surprised\" and \"certainly not shocked\" by what happened.\n\n###\n\n\n\n\nTRENDING\n\nStories\n\nVideos\n\nYour Say\n\n###\n\n\n\n\nHe said: \"It could have been stopped many years ago, and it hasn't.\n\n\"We have an insipid Government, sadly, that should have stopped the marches, should have stopped the hate, and it should have proscribed the IRGC as a terrorist organisation.\"\n\nMr Marlowe declared that they \"don't feel safe\" in this country anymore.\n\nHe told Mark: \"Those two guys were just walking along and get stabbed - it really is quite scary now, and we don't feel safe in this country anymore.\"\n\n###\n\n\n\n\n###\n\n\n\n\n###\n\n\n\n\nMr Marlowe recalled their son immigrating to Israel, warning his parents before he was murdered that he \"didn't see a future\" in the UK as he \"didn't feel safe\" living there.\n\nHe told GB News: \"Our son Jake Made Aliyah when he was when he was 24. We asked him, 'Jake, why are you Making Aliyah?'\n\n\"He said, 'dad, mum, because I don't like this country. I don't feel safe in this country anymore.
