  "textContent": "\n\n\nDrivers are being warned of long delays on a key road between York and Leeds following a multi-vehicle collision involving a number of vehicles.\n\nNational Highways has reported that the A64 in North Yorkshire remains closed between the A1237 (near Tadcaster) and the A659 (near Askham Bryan).\n\n###\n\n\n\n\nThe multi-vehicle collision is believed to have involved five vehicles, according to the transport organisation.\n\nEmergency services are in attendance at the accident, while National Highways service providers are en route to assist with traffic management.\n\n###\n\n\n\n\nTRENDING\n\nStories\n\nVideos\n\nYour Say\n\n###\n\n\n\n\nData from National Highways suggested that normal traffic conditions would not return until around 12.30pm and 12.45pm.\n\nThis is also around the same time that the incident will be cleared, although it could take longer depending on the recovery efforts.\n\nGB News has contacted the North Yorkshire Police and the Yorkshire Ambulance Service for a comment.\n\nNational Highways stated: \"If this closure impacts on your planned route, please allow extra journey time.
