The individual in question has been terminated.\"\n\nMs Baum's LinkedIn said she worked at The Children's House, which rebranded to BrightPath in 2023.\n\nMs Baum was working at BrightPath Bridgetown Child Care Centre, a centre for pre-school aged children, as of Sunday, according to Fox News.\n\n###\n\n\n\n\n###\n\n\n\n\nThe Children's House had six locations before joining the BrightPath group.\n\nFox News reported that a friend of Ms Baum said she was not interested in commenting.\n\nThe friend said Ms Baum was \"going through a difficult time\" and was \"distraught\".\n\nSaturday's assassination attempt on the President was the third attempt on his life in two years.\n\n### DONALD TRUMP ASSASSINATION ATTEMPT - READ MORE:\n\n\n\n\n * ‘I shrieked!’ US journalist reacts to ‘shocking’ attack on ‘free speech’ after Washington shooting\n * Donald Trump insists King Charles 'will be very safe' in the US\n * Donald Trump condemns 'dangerous Democrat hate speech' after third assassination attempt\n\n\n\n###\n\n\n\n\n###\n\n\n\n\nMr Trump and First Lady Melania were rushed out of the Washington Hilton hotel as shots rung out on Saturday.\n\nSuspect Cole Tomas Allen, 31, has now been charged with trying to assassinate the President, interstate transportation of weapons, and discharge of a firearm during a violent crime.\n\nHe is set to next appear in court on May 11 for a pre-trial hearing.\n\nHe appeared in court wearing a blue jumpsuit and was led into court by marshals.\n\nCourt documents alleged Allen had a 12-gauge pump action shotgun and a Rock Island Armory .38-calibre pistol, both purchased in California.\n\n###\n\n\n\n\n###\n\n\n\n\nHe apologised to his family and said he planned to assassinate members of Mr Trump's administration, a note seen in a court document alleged.\n\nThe White House met with both the Secret Service and Department of Homeland Security to address security for major events as the President hosts King Charles this week.\n\nActing Attorney General Todd Blanche said law enforcement \"did not fail\" on Saturday in a press conference earlier on Monday announcing the federal charges.\n\nJoined by FBI head Kash Patel and US Attorney for DC Jeanine Pirro, he said the attack on Saturday provided \"no better example\" for why the East Wing ballroom needed to be constructed.\n\n###\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n**Our Standards: The GB News Editorial Charter**",
