Liverpool goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili has been stretchered off in the Merseyside derby, as Arne Slot has been forced to bring in his third-choice keeper.

Freddie Woodman has come on to play the remaining half an hour at the Hill Dickenson Stadium.

The 29-year-old was at Preston North End until 2025, playing over 100 games for the Championship side.

Liverpool took the lead in the fixture thanks to Mohamed Salah before Everton's Beto answered back in the second half.
