  "textContent": "\n\n\nA 73-year-old pensioner has died after being punched in Cheltenham.\n\nJim Davis, described as caring and compassionate by his family, died on April 10 after being taken to hospital, Gloucestershire Police said.\n\n###\n\n\n\n\nHe confronted two male teenagers on the city's Millennium Bridge - who had thrown a large branch at a cyclist at about 7.30pm on April 8.\n\nMr Davis then had an exchange with the two teenagers, with one of them punching him, police said.\n\n###\n\n\n\n\nTRENDING\n\nStories\n\nVideos\n\nYour Say\n\nIn a statement, his family said: \"We as a family are devastated by the loss of Jimmy.
