"textContent": "\n\n\nWhilst we're all focusing on international politics, our political elites are quietly avoiding the elephant in the room, the immovable elephant that is illegally entering the country on an industrial scale.\n\nAnd right now there doesn't appear to be a will to remove it.\n\n###\n\n\n\n\nI'm talking about the situation in the English Channel, a situation that is making this country a dumping ground for absolutely anyone.\n\nBecause once you get into the UK illegally, it seems the chances are you'll never be removed even if you fail your asylum claim.\n\n###\n\n\n\n\nTRENDING\n\nStories\n\nVideos\n\nYour Say\n\n###\n\n\n\n\nIn the latest asylum madness, the Home Office has been forced to prove in court that an asylum seeker from Ethiopia, with a thick beard and moustache, lines on his forehead, a prominent Adam's apple and a receding hairline was not a child.\n\nYou couldn't make this up!\n\nThe Ethiopian man, who hasn't been named because he was granted anonymity - I suspect because he claimed to be 17 - told immigration officers that he was born in 2008 and that he left home at the age of 12, where last year he paid people smugglers to get across the Channel.\n\nHow does someone at 17 acquire the funds to do such a thing? Does he think that we're stupid?\n\n###\n\n\n\n\n###\n\n\n\n\n###\n\n\n\n\nMind you, who would blame him for thinking that?\n\nBecause the fact that this can even come to court, funded by the taxpayer - that's you and I, by the way - is absurd.\n\nAfter being found by a judge to be at least 23, which was rejected by his lawyers who obtained permission for a judicial review, the Ethiopian man went to great lengths to delete or doctor any social media accounts that would give the game away.\n\nRepeatedly lying about his age and family, even though to any sane thinking person with a modicum of common sense, he clearly was not a child.\n\n### BRITAIN'S BORDERS CRISIS - READ THE LATEST:\n\n\n\n\n * Human rights lawyer sounds alarm after shocking statistics reveal five Albanians jailed in UK daily\n * Easter ‘woodland retreat’ for illegal migrants AXED after ‘violent backlash’ from locals\n * Migrant who fled Iranian regime ‘depressed’ after being sent to Gateshead\n\n\n\n###\n\n\n\n\n###\n\n\n\n\nOfficials had to recover deleted social media accounts, which eventually revealed his real age in posts wishing him happy birthday.\n\nThink of how much energy and money it has already cost this country!\n\nRemember the chicken nugget migrant and Albanian criminal who fought deportation by claiming his 11-year-old son disliked foreign chicken nuggets?\n\n###\n\n\n\n\n###\n\n\n\n\nHe won his case after entering the UK illegally using a false name, and lied in his failed asylum claim. He was allowed to stay using the ECHR and family rights.\n\nKlevis Disha was his real name.\n\nThere are loads more incidents like these. This lunacy needs to end.\n\nWhy this country is entertaining such obvious madness is beyond me.\n\n###\n\n\n\n\n**\n**\n\n**\n**\n\n**Our Standards: The GB News Editorial Charter**",
