Motorists are being warned of expensive petrol and diesel prices across the UK that could see them pay more than £2 per litre for their fuel.

As conflict in the Middle East rages on, drivers are facing the impact of hostilities through soaring fuel prices, stemming from the fluctuating cost of Brent crude oil.

Experts have warned that average fuel costs will rise further over the coming weeks and months, as Britons are already paying an average of 149.44p for a litre of petrol and a staggering 175.73p for diesel.
