"textContent": "\n\n\nThe trusted nanny of the Prince and Princess of Wales, Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo, has quietly accepted a special royal honour at Windsor Castle.\n\nThe nanny looks after Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, and received the Royal Victorian Medal (Silver) during an investiture ceremony in Windsor.\n\n###\n\n\n\n\nA statement said that she was decorated “for services to the Prince and Princess of Wales” at a ceremony held by William himself.\n\nOther honourees at the event were photographed receiving their awards; however, images of Ms Borrallo accepting her award were not shared.\n\n###\n\n\n\n\nThe Royal Victorian Medal is an honour that is bestowed at the discretion of King Charles and it was announced during the New Year’s Honours list in December.\n\nMs Borrallo has worked for the future king for the last 12 years, joining the royal couple when Prince George was eight months old.\n\n“Maria loves the children dearly.
