"textContent": "\n\n\nI’ve often wondered if my money is safe in the hands of these alleged financial ‘’superstars’’ in the City. Having seen they’ve just paid tens of thousands to Angela Rayner for a phone call, it’s clear my fears are more than justified.\n\nWhat on earth would they have learned from a call with Ms Rayner? How not to pay stamp duty? How not to hit housing targets?\n\nHow to be part of a team running the country into the ground?\n\nIt was the Financial Times who revealed that it was the French bank BNP Paribas that coughed up the five-figure sum to Rayner for her to join a call with City investors earlier this month.\n\nA total waste of the bank’s cash.\n\n###\n\n\n\n\nWhat could they have possibly learned from Rayner that they couldn’t have found in a bag of potatoes? Unbelievably, and this is where I fear for my money, the FT reported investors who joined the call felt reassured on hearing her promise to stick by Labour’s fiscal rules.\n\nWhy would you believe any Socialist politician claiming they were going to keep a policy or a promise connected with money?\n\nJust Reeves' recored over the last two years.\n\nRayner makes no secret of the fact that she will be gunning for No.10 when the May council election disaster happens (have got the popcorn in for that night) and further, has been explicit that Starmer is not radical enough.\n\n\n\n\n###\n\n\n\n\n###\n\n\n\n\nI absolutely guarantee that the minute she got to power, she would put up the top rate of income tax from 45 per cent to 50 per cent.\n\nLike all Lefties, she hates the wealthy but loves their money. She has started making these lucrative calls, giving speeches, and even writing her memoir.\n\nThat memoir is a pitch for the top job, showing how she went from a single mum at 16 to sitting around the Cabinet table.\n\nRather than that being a triumph, another way of looking at it is that it shows how little talent there is in the Labour Party.\n\nWhen you look at the way the country has collapsed since Labour got in, surely the pessimistic view of Rayner’s ability to get to the top table is the correct one. The reality is that although life may be tough for her voters, it’s all gone rather well for Rayner.\n\nThe Times says she will have made more than £100,000 over the last six months. Certainly, a lot better than her constituents.\n\nThey will be so pleased.\n\nThe exact details of her earnings will be revealed in her register of interests over the coming weeks. Should be fascinating. My advice is that once you learn of the names of the financial institutions that paid this dimwit money, you should pull out your hard-earned savings immediately.\n\nI am really looking forward to the backlash against Rayner. Have you noticed that, despite her being forced out of office back in September, HMRC have still not said, seven months later, what the fine will be on top of the stamp duty being paid. One tax expert I read said the fine will be around £8,000.\n\nRayner’s people will be fighting this with fury because if she’s fined, it will make it impossible for her to be Prime Minister.\n\nImagine the pressure being put politically on the boss of HMRC to say it was an honest mistake and that no fine will be imposed.\n\nWas no fine to be handed out; the most enormous bucket load would fall on HMRC as it would never have happened had you made such a ‘’mistake’’.\n\nIt would be a scandal which will rebound on the Labour hierarchy. Add that to the free suits and spectacles Starmer and Co received, and you could see that there is one law for the Socialists and another for the rest of us.",
