  "textContent": "\n\n\nPrince William has posted a never before seen picture of his mother, Princess Diana, for Mother's Day.\n\nThe image was taken at Highgrove in 1984, and shows two-year-old William in a field of flowers alongside his mother.\n\n###\n\n\n\n\nWilliam captioned the image: \"Remembering my mother, today and every day.\n\n\"Thinking of all those who are remembering someone they love today. Happy Mother's Day. W.\"\n\n###\n\n\n\n\nFans were quick to comment on the touching photo, with many stating how \"proud\" Diana would be of the future King.\n\nOne user said: \"Beautiful photo, she would be so proud of you and your family William!\"\n\nAnother added: \"In our hearts she will always be!\"\n\n###\n\n\n\n\nA third added: \"Happy Mother's Day to you William, Diana would be so proud of the man you have become!\"\n\nOn Saturday, the Prince of Wales payed tribute to one of the causes close to Diana's heart.\n\nWilliam took to social media to mark the 40th anniversary of the Swimathon UK, a project Princess Diana helped to get off the ground.\n\n###\n\n\n\n\nShe played a key role in launching the charity, which has now inspired hundreds of thousands of people to take on swimming challenges in the last 40 years.\n\nThe charity is marking the occasion by hosting the annual fundraising event in over 450 pools across the UK between March 20 and 22.\n\nIn his message, the Prince of Wales said: “Congratulations to Swimathon UK on 40 years of bringing people together through swimming. It’s so inspiring to see hundreds of thousands of people taking part while raising millions for life-changing charities.
