"textContent": "\n\n\n\nA member of staff at a Sheffield secondary school was taken to hospital after a fight broke out between pupils.\n\nPolice were called to reports of a \"disturbance\" at Fir Vale Academy on Owler Lane shortly after midday today.\n\n###\n\n\n\n\nSouth Yorkshire Police said one staff member was taken to hospital but has since been discharged.\n\nThe force said in a statement an \"altercation\" had lead to \"broader pockets of disorder\" among pupils in the school grounds.\n\n###\n\n\n\n\nTRENDING\n\nStories\n\nVideos\n\nYour Say\n\n###\n\n\n\n\n\"Several staff members and students received minor injuries which did not require medical treatment,\" police said.\n\n\"One staff member was taken to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life threatening or life changing and were not the result of an assault.
