The Algarve in particular is a standout - it's the most affordable option and still comfortably clears the 20°C mark, which for late March is genuinely impressive.\"\n\nThe Algarve is one of Portugal's most famous regions, with golden beaches, dramatic cliffs and more than 300 days of sunshine, making it a top option for holidaymakers.\n\nFamilies prioritising budget over finding the hottest temperatures have more choice, too. Menorca is the most affordable place in the research, with an average price of £436 per person. March temperatures sit around 15°C.\n\n###\n\n\n\n\n###\n\n\n\n\n###\n\n\n\n\n###\n\n\n\n\nTemperatures in Costa Dorada, Mallorca and Costa Blanca can sit around 18°C and 19°C making them very similar to the top list, but at a more affordable price.\n\nAverage hollidays cost £472pp, £508pp and £536pp, respectively. Those planning to travel in the April portion of the Easter break can expect even better weather.\n\nThe hottest location in the research is Marrakesh, hitting an average of 25°C in March.
