"textContent": "\n\n\n\nA man has been charged after the body of an elderly woman was found in a freezer.\n\nThe body was discovered after police searched his home in Porthcawl, South Wales after reports of welfare concerns.\n\n###\n\n\n\n\nChristopher Phillips, 60, from Porthcawl, was charged with preventing a lawful burial.\n\nA spokesman for South Wales Police said the force attended an address on Poplar Crescent, Porthcawl at 1.45pm on Tuesday after a call concerning the welfare of a woman.\n\nPolice said a woman in her 80s, also from Porthcawl, was found dead inside.\n\nThe force added: \"Christopher Phillips, 60, from Porthcawl has been charged with preventing a lawful burial.
